"When do I need to see a podiatrist?"

This is our most popular question! We treat a wide range of medical and surgical conditions of the foot and ankle.  Podiatrists provide foot care from dermatological to surgical needs of the feet.  We strongly encourage anyone suffering from athlete’s foot infection, bacterial infection, ankle injury from sports, foot and ankle arthritis, gout, bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonosis, ingrown toenails, warts, fabrication of custom orthotics or ankle foot orthoses, diabetic foot care, or foot or leg wounds to see a member of our team.

Our Podiatry Services

Foot & Ankle Care

At our office, our doctors are board certified or qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.  We offer the most up to date procedures for all your podiatry needs.  We treat all ages.  Our mission is to offer you a comfortable environment, render the best service and care, and to return you to functional level.

Custom
Orthotics

We offer custom made functional orthotics and ankle foot orthoses for our patients.   We also offer a full line of orthopedic shoes that are available from the comfort of our offices.  Come in to view our selection of Vionic shoes,
sandals and slippers.

Vionic Shoe Options

Vionic shoes provide the essential stability and support needed in today’s world. Consider the contour seamlessly engineered into each shoe, sandal, and slipper. Even the summer line of sandals and slippers support natural alignment from the ground up.

Diabetic Foot Care

Diabetic Foot Care is essential for those suffering from diabetes. More than 16 million Americans have diabetes and of those, 10-15% will develop a diabetic foot ulcer during their lifetime. If we can intervene early to limit the damage caused by an ulcer, we may be able to delay amputation or prevent it entirely.

Achilles Tendonitis

Achilles tendonitis is a painful and often debilitating inflammation of the Achilles tendon (heel cord). Achilles tendonitis may be caused by a single incident of overstressing the tendon, or it may result from a series of stresses that produce small tears over time (overuse).

Athelete's Foot Infection

Athlete’s foot infection is a rash on the skin of the foot. It is the most common fungal skin infection. Athlete’s foot is caused by a fungus that grows on or in the top layer of skin. Most often, people get it by walking barefoot on contaminated surfaces near swimming pools or in locker rooms.

Ingrown Toenail & Infections

An ingrown toenail is a painful condition of the toe. It occurs when a sharp corner of the toenail digs into the skin at the end of or the side of the toe. This “digging in” of the nail irritates the skin, often creating pain, redness and swelling in the toe.

Plantar Fasciitis & Treatment

Plantar Fasciitis is a very common painful condition that affects the bottom of the heel bone.  Plantar Fasciitis is the result of damage or stress to the soft tissue that makes up the arch of the foot.  It is very debilitating at times and requires immediate attention to alleviate the pain and to return a person to functional level.
