Meet Dang H. Vu, DPM
Dr. Dang H. Vu is a highly rated Baltimore Podiatrist maintaining offices in Reisterstown, Towson and the Hampden neightborhood in Baltimore. The practice is more than 17 years old. He works hard to gain the trust and confidence of his patients. Dr. Vu is proud of the high praise and positive reviews offered by his Baltimore patients.
He is a Fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Vu immigrated to the United States with his parents and four siblings from Saigon, Vietnam, when he was ten years old. They had their humble beginning in Memphis, TN. He excelled in school by graduating valedictorian of his high school class and received a scholarship to Vanderbilt University. During his sophomore year, he attended the Vanderbilt-in-France program in Aix-en-Provence, studying French literature and history. He eventually obtained a B.S. with majors in pre-med and French.

He left Tennessee to study podiatry at the Dr. W. M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. He won several awards in medical school for his service and scholarship. After medical school, He landed a podiatric surgical residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He was the only podiatry resident that year, under the tutelage of many podiatrists who were on staff at the hospital. Thus, he gained much knowledge and hands-on experience in the fields of medicine and surgery.
From his humble beginning, to his personal and educational journey, it has made him a well-rounded individual. It is with humility that he treats each patient with the utmost importance and care. He believes in educating his patients in preventive care, especially with the diabetic population, where proper foot care can prevent loss of limb.

Meet Dr. Nicholas Bruning
Dr. Nicholas G. Bruning is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has a special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, bunion surgery, sports medicine, trauma, diabetic foot care, and lower extremity wound care. Dr. Bruning takes a patient centered approach to medicine by listening to you, educating you about your condition, explaining your options, and together establishing a treatment plan that is right for you. His goal is to keep you doing or get you back to doing what you enjoy most in life.
Dr. Bruning grew up in Traverse City, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. Following graduation he continued his studies earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. While in podiatry school, he volunteered at free clinics for underserved communities. This was an opportunity he found very rewarding. Dr. Bruning completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency training through St. Joseph Mercy Health System at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in metro Detroit. Prior to joining Family Podiatry of Maryland he worked in private practice in Northern Michigan.
In his free time Dr. Bruning enjoys sailing, skiing, biking, hiking, trying new restaurants and spending time outdoors with his family and friends. He is excited to explore all the Chesapeake and Maryland have to offer and serve this wonderful community.
