Dr. Dang H. Vu is a highly rated Baltimore Podiatrist maintaining offices in Reisterstown, Towson and the Hampden neightborhood in Baltimore. The practice is more than 17 years old. He is a Fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Vu immigrated to the United States with his parents and four siblings from Saigon, Vietnam, when he was ten years old. They had their humble beginning in Memphis, TN. He excelled in school by graduating valedictorian of his high school class and received a scholarship to Vanderbilt University. During his sophomore year, he attended the Vanderbilt-in-France program in Aix-en-Provence, studying French literature and history. He eventually obtained a B.S. with majors in pre-med and French.
He left Tennessee to study podiatry at the Dr. W. M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. He won several awards in medical school for his service and scholarship. After medical school, He landed a podiatric surgical residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He was the only podiatry resident that year, under the tutelage of many podiatrists who were on staff at the hospital. Thus, he gained much knowledge and hands-on experience in the fields of medicine and surgery.
From his humble beginning, to his personal and educational journey, it has made him a well-rounded individual. It is with humility that he treats each patient with the utmost importance and care. He believes in educating his patients in preventive care, especially with the diabetic population, where proper foot care can prevent loss of limb.
